REWRITE

Once upon a time the handbag was a necessity for men, but for a woman, it was a daring statement. To carry items and money in bags and external pockets was considered a masculine habit.

Fast-forward to present times, handbags, belt bags and all manners of accessorizing have become essentially genderless.

What matters most is that the contents of your bag are private but what's on the outside is for the world to see. Your handbag is an indispensable addition that represents your personality, ideas, and style-sense. The right handbag gives you the power to reinvent your outlook without saying a word.

REINVENT

Inspired by the historic reticule’s journey from functional to fashionable, Rachel Honickman, a twenty five year veteran of the interior design industry launched RETICULE in 2023.

Seamlessly blending timeless elegance with contemporary style, RETICULE was born out of this sweet spot where beauty and utility meet and pull from Rachels knowledge of textiles, leathers, metals and other crafting materials and tools.

STRENGTHEN

Local artisans and craftspeople are the pulse of every community, and RETICULE is dedicated to uplifting our local community by sourcing their creative talents.

Designed in Brooklyn, NY and made in New York City’s garment district, Rachel has worked with a coterie of local fabric specialists, Italian leather producers, metalsmiths, woodworkers and makers to ensure each piece is designed with a sense of soft, but architectural, structure and handcrafted with unerring care.

CHARM

The textured solid brass RETICULE mark is one of the first subtly recognizable signs of interest that draw you in. The stellar silhouettes, construction, and design hold the attraction.

As an interior design professional, Rachel was consistently charged with the challenge of creating design solutions that were both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

RETICULE takes pride in achieving the balance between attractiveness and utility with each bag meant to compliment multiple outfits and lifestyles while maintaining that beloved element of newness and endless possibilities.
